I’ll be heading down to the University of Kent on the 14th February 2019 to run a workshop on ‘period poverty’ for the Diversity and Disruption: An Intersectional Valentine event.
In the workshop Period Poverty: Disrupting Dominate Discourses, we’ll be thinking about how ‘period poverty’ is represented in mainstream cultural sites. Taking inspiration from Girl Guiding badges, we’ll then be making badges to try to disrupt dominate representations of ‘period poverty’.
The workshop is open to all and free to attend and will run at 3-4 on Wednesday 14th February 2019 at the University of Kent. You can register for the workshop here.
